Metropole Hanoi includes two areas: the Heritage Wing (in the old French style) and the Opera Wing (in the modern style). These two distinct designs create an interesting contrasting space in the hotel.

Heritage Wing

The Heritage Wing’s rooms are furnished with authentic colonial furnishings. While the rooms all vary slightly in decor, they include hardwood floors, rich colors, and beautifully curated French-inspired finishes and furniture. Amenities in all rooms include air-conditioning, flat-screen TVs, minibars, tea- and coffee-making facilities, desks, telephones, safes, and free Wi-Fi. The suites include a butler service that is available 24/7.

Bathrooms include either walk-in showers and tubs or shower/tub combos with hairdryers, magnifying mirrors, and Hermes or Lanvin toiletries. Bathrobes and slippers are provided.

Opera Wing 

The reason for the name “Opera Wing” is because this lobby is only a few steps from the Hanoi Opera House. Different from the classic History Wing, the more contemporary Opera Wing was added from 1994-1996, along with the Metropole Center office tower, whose offices were converted to additional hotel rooms in 2008.

The Opera Wing features three types of rooms, including:

The restaurant is open for service from 18h00 to 22h30 from Monday to Friday.

Le Club Bar – Enjoy Jazz music 

The restaurant has a garden view, a place to enjoy afternoon tea and famous chocolate dishes, as well as enjoy romantic jazz tunes. 

The food at Le Club is more European with a small amount of food but focuses on culinary art. The pastries here have a unique flavor that is hard to find elsewhere.

History & Bunker tour

Speaking of the Bamboo Bar, the construction team discovered the entrance to the long sealed off air raid bunker under the hotel during a refurbishment in 2011. Since 2012, the Metropole has run twice daily tours at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. to tour the bunkers exclusively for hotel guests.
